I have seen lots of people do these kind of blog posts over the past few years and I thought I could do one – not in a sense to boast about what I got but to do it as a sign of appreciation and because I feel very lucky. Also, it gives me time to experiment with my new iPhone 7 Plus and a new marble backdrop I have recently made (myself from a piece of wood and marble vinyl) – think I’m the most excited about using my new background to be honest. Here’s just a few picture of my bits that I got, and I will be doing swatches and reviews of the products after the New Year!

Hope you’ve all had the best festive season, and Happy Boxing Day!

I am so lucky to have got all these beautiful gifts! Thanking my lucky stars!

Morphe Brushes 35K Pallet – OMG OMG!

I have been after the Morphe Brushes 350 pallet for months and every time it comes back into stock, it sells out immediately. So, I asked for the next best thing – the 35K pallet, filled with coffee-like colours, very similar to the 350 pallet.

Makeup Geek Pan’s, Spectrum B06 Brush, Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade & Urban Decay Setting Spray (saviour)

A wonderful friend got me an amazing Beauty Bay kit full of Makeup Geek eyeshadow pans which sit in a Z Pallet. The set included Creme Brûlée (great transition colour), Showtime (a lovely high pigmented shimmery-burgundy) and Corrupt (a dark black perfect for that smokey look). Alongside this, I got an amazing Spectrum brush, the B06, perfect for blending and the most beautiful brush I have seen – I am hoping to get a whole set from Spectrum soon.

Other favourites I received were Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in medium brown – I seem to go through this product so quickly, so this is just a top up of the brow product I absolutely rave about. Another of my beauty must-haves is the Urban Decay Long-Lasting Setting Spray, this product makes your makeup look fresh all day long! This again, I rave about and go through quickly (think it’s my third bottle this year!).

Marc Jacobs Decadence – my new FAVOURITE fragrance!

I can’t remember the last time I got given some perfume as a gift – I normally just buy some whenever I go to the airport or when a friend or family member goes. So, because I have completely ran out of all my perfumes (even my daily ones from Marks & Spencer) I wanted some new perfume! This Marc Jacobs Decadence perfume is absolutely divine – it’s not too sweet but it’s not too old lady (if I can say that), with notes of saffron and plum, it really is just right and it lasts FOREVER!

P.S those little pink pigs with Christmas hats are called Percy Pigs (if you had never heard of them – you must try them!)
